It’s no secret most everyone these days is playing in the social space, but can you actually tell from visiting the company’s website or blog?  Whether it’s Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr or the company blog, there are ways to tie your online presence together.  If you aren’t already linking one to another, you are losing some valuable SEO and more importantly, you are losing the opportunity to engage your target consumer in spaces where they spend the majority of their time online.

  • If you have a blog, you should ensure you have links to each of your social media sites and a link back to your website.
  • Your website should provide a link to all your social media sites as well.  In addition, pull in a Flickr feed or add a Facebook “Like” button.
  • Create valuable content across all of your sites to drive traffic throughout your online presence.
  • Create a customized landing page or background for all of your social media sites.
